Between 21 BBY and 19 BBY,[2] Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi of the Jedi Order participated in a skirmish against Tofen's Raiders. While fighting[1] the Confederacy of Independent Systems–aligned[3] Tofen's Raiders pilot unit, Kenobi's starfighters experienced technical issues. Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker later learned of the engagement and became doubtful of Kenobi's piloting capabilities. When the two Jedi battled the Confederacy of Independent Systems Navy, Skywalker elected himself to lead the starfighter operations, with Kenobi believing that the former was doubting his piloting skills because of the previous skirmish.[1]
