A skirmish was fought during the Clone Wars between the New Mandalorians and a faction of Moogan smugglers on Mandalore. After Duchess Satine Kryze, visiting Senator Padmé Amidala, Captain Patrok Ru-Saxon of the Mandalorian Guard, and a force of his men investigated criminal activity at a warehouse at the Sundari shipping docks, a shootout between the Moogans and the Mandalorian Guard ensued. The Moogans were arrested and Ru-Saxon ordered the facility that the smugglers were using to be burned to the ground.[2]

Prelude[]

During the Clone Wars, an operation perpetrated by Tee Va and his group of Moogan and Gotal smugglers on the planet Mandalore caused a public health crisis in the Mandalorian capital of Sundari. Duchess Satine Kryze and her friend Padmé Amidala, who was visiting the planet, looked into the cause of the crisis, and learned that there was a possibility of corruption taking place at the Sundari shipping docks that allowed the smugglers to bring the poisoned Ardees Beverage tea into the city. Although Mandalorian Guard captain Patrok Ru-Saxon doubted that corruption was the source of the problem, he and a group of his guards went with Kryze and Amidala to investigate the docks.[2]

Notes and references[]

  1. 1.0 1.1 Star Wars: Timelines states that the events of "The Academy" follow the second mission to Florrum featured in "Lethal Trackdown." However, StarWars.com Star Wars: The Clone Wars Chronological Episode Order on StarWars.com (backup link) establishes that the events of "Corruption," which features the skirmish at the Sundari docks, occur between "Lethal Trackdown" and "The Academy." Therefore, the second mission to Florrum must be followed by the skirmish at the Sundari docks. The events of "The Academy" are themselves followed by the Alderaan Refugee Conference according to Timelines.

  3. Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of "Lethal Trackdown" and "The Academy" to 21 BBY. Since StarWars.com Star Wars: The Clone Wars Chronological Episode Order on StarWars.com (backup link) places "Corruption" between "Lethal Trackdown" and "The Academy," it must also be set in 21 BBY.
