In 20 BBY, a skirmish took place in the Royal Palace of the Naboo capital city Theed between Confederacy of Independent Systems Head of State and secret Sith Lord Count Dooku and Jedi Master and Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi, at the time disguised as Rako Hardeen and Anakin Skywalker respectively. The Jedi were attempting to rescue Sheev Palpatine, the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic whom Dooku was attempting to kidnap after the failure of his plan to have a team of bounty hunters do it instead. Kenobi and Skywalker were ultimately able to rescue the Chancellor, but Dooku was able to escape.
