During the Galactic Civil War in 5 ABY, New Republic General Hera Syndulla and her forces aboard the Star Destroyer Deliverance, who had continued their hunt for the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing, managed to track the fighter wing and the bulk freighter Yadeez to the G'Tep'Noi system, where they engaged one another in a brief skirmish.
After arriving in system, the New Republic forces encountered an asteroid field between them and the 204th. Commander Wyl Lark led the more nimble starfighters of Wild Squadron through the asteroids to find a path, while the slower fighters and bombers from Flare Squadron and Hail Squadron, held back. As they neared, the 204th left themselves open to attack as the bulk freighter Yadeez was leaving the asteroid field to jump to lightspeed. Lark ordered the fighters to attack, Flare and Hail Squadron moved to either side of him, while Wild prepared to flank the bulk freighter. Out of nowhere, former Alphabet Leader and traitor, Lieutenant Yrica Quell, announced over the comm her allegiance to the 204th, warning the New Republic forces to withdraw or be destroyed. This caught the New Republic forces off guard, particularly the members of Alphabet Squadron, because she was presumed dead during the 204th's attack on Cerberon. Quell fired warning shots at Lark and during the confusion, Quell boarded her TIE on the freighter. But it was too late for Flare and Hail to reach it, and the Yadeez disappeared once again into hyperspace.

Notes and references
- Victory's Price
- Victory's Price begins eleven months after the Battle of Endor, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 4 ABY, and features the Battle of Jakku, which Galactic Atlas in turn places in 5 ABY. Since Before the Awakening establishes that Kes Dameron and Shara Bey moved to Yavin 4 around six months after the Battle of Endor and Galactic Atlas dates their move to 5 ABY, Victory's Price must therefore be set in 5 ABY. Furthermore, the skirmish in the G'Tep'Noi system must also be set in 5 ABY.
