In 14 BBY,[3] a skirmish ensued between the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader and a scout party of Mustafarians, who had been sent by their clan leader, Father Kkkt, to investigate the arrival of the Sith Lord. Vader was able to kill two of the Mustafarians and one of their lava fleas. He then used the Mask of Lord Momin to possess the Northern Mustafarian Sssp. As he did this, the Southern Mustafarian Rrrn fled the scene,[4] later telling Kkkt of what he saw.[5]

Fallen Order takes place five years after the Great Jedi Purge, which is dated to 19 BBY by Star Wars: Galactic Atlas. Therefore, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is also set in 14 BBY. As Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith 21 is between both Tarkin and Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith 22, the events of the issue must take place in 14 BBY. Therefore, the events of issue 22 must also occur in that year, as the issue is after issue 18 and before the Second Sister's death.
