Skynara was an astronomical object located in the Outer Rim Territories, positioned at the coordinates P-19[1] on the Standard Galactic Grid.[2] Skynara was located on a hyperspace route that branched to Spice Terminus, Suarbi and Vohai.[1]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
Skynara was first shown in the new Star Wars canon on a map in the article Where in the Galaxy Are the Worlds of Star Wars: The Force Awakens?, published on StarWars.com on January 29, 2016. While its name was not visible on the map,[3] Skynara was later identified by name in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, published by Fantasy Flight Games[1] in August 2016.[4]
In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Skynara was first mentioned in Galaxy Guide 9: Fragments from the Rim, a supplement to Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Simon Smith and Eric S. Trautmann, and published in 1993.[5]
