Sleemo was a Huttese insult, pronounced slay-mo, and literally translating as "slimeball".[2]

In 32 BBY, while preparing his podracer for the Boonta Eve Classic, young Anakin Skywalker, a Human from Tatooine, faced taunts from his Dug rival, Sebulba. Undeterred, Skywalker insulted Sebulba by calling him "sleemo," to which Sebulba responded by labeling Skywalker as "bantha poodoo."[2]

In 137 ABY, Zareb Syn and Rav were destroying the camp of some gem miners on Roon when Jedi Master Rasi Tuum, trying to defend the miners, attacked them both. In the heat of the fight, Syn attacked Tuum unexpectedly from behind, angrily proclaiming, "Jedi can die too, sleemo!" Zareb was ultimately killed in the struggle.[3]
