Slicer droids were a type of droid, able to slice (hack) data. The computer of the YT-1300 light freighter known as the Millennium Falcon was made up of a slicer droid brain, an R3-series astromech droid brain and a V-5 transport droid brain.[1] At the time of the Iron Blockade, the Uprising created UPR-17 Slicing Droids by adding a simple slicing subroutine and basic intelligence inside the chassis of old Marksman-H training remotes.[2]
