"At last. All right, I can tell you now: I've finally delivered the secret formula for new improved Slipthroat Grizmallt Liquor! 'If it's Grizmallt, it slips down your throat.' The local bottling operation thanks you!"
―An individual to a spacer who helped escort them to safety[1]

Slipthroat Grizmallt Liquor was an alcoholic beverage from[1] the planet[2] Grizmallt. Sometime after the Battle of Yavin, an individual developed a new secret formula for the liquor and undertook a journey to deliver it, during which all of the individual's companions were killed.[1]

As they neared their destination, the individual encountered a spacer and requested their assistance, needing someone capable of handling a weapon to survive the journey. The individual did not reveal that they carried the formula, and the spacer agreed, escorting the individual through significant danger. After successfully reaching their destination, the individual revealed to the spacer that they had transported the new Slipthroat Grizmallt Liquor formula, thanking them on behalf of a local bottling business.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Slipthroat Grizmallt Liquor was mentioned in an escort mission assigned by a non-player character in Sony Online Entertainment's 2003 massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars Galaxies[1] prior to its shutdown in 2011.[3] The mission containing the beverage's mention could be randomly generated across several different planets.[1]
