Smoothies were a type of foodstuff. The canteen on the Republic Defense Coalition mobile launch and repair station served proteins in both smoothies and cakes. They were suitable for nearly all known sentient species.[1]

Smoothies were mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the young-adult novel The High Republic: Defy the Storm, written by Tessa Gratton and Justina Ireland and published in 2024 as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[2]
Smoothies were mentioned in the first issue of the non-canon comic series Tag & Bink Are Dead.[3] The Lurol smoothie was mentioned in the Star Wars Legends continuity in Dark Nest II: The Unseen Queen, the second novel of the Dark Nest Trilogy by Troy Denning.[4]
