There are two conflicting sources for this article: Join the Resistance: Escape from Vodran and Poe Dameron 25.

Lucasfilm has not established a cohesive timeline regarding this subject. Editor discretion is advised.

"And may the Force be with you both, for all your days."
―Leia Organa to Snap and Karé[1]

Snap and Karé's wedding was the wedding of Resistance pilots Temmin "Snap" Wexley and Karé Kun held in the Resistance base on D'Qar[1] in 34 ABY.[2] The bride and groom agreed to it after returning from the rescue of Lor San Tekka.[1]

Members of J-Squadron attempted to keep the wedding secret under orders from Poe Dameron to Jo Jerjerrod, but poor planning resulted in the ceremony becoming the worst-kept secret on the base. The runway was decorated by Sari Nadle, and AG-90 provided music. The ceremony was disturbed when the crackling pudding cooked by Mattis Banz had anilam added to it by Klimo, which caused Dameron, the bride and groom, and most of the attending guests to erupt in noisy flatulence. However, they all ended up laughing it off.[3] At one point, General Organa wished that the Force be with the bride and groom.[1] Wedge Antilles gave Wexley a pair of flight gauntlets as a wedding gift.[4]

Behind the scenes[]

The wedding was first mentioned in the 2017 young-readers book Join the Resistance: Escape from Vodran by Ben Acker and Ben Blacker,[3] and was portrayed a a year later in the comic Poe Dameron 25 written by Charles Soule and illustrated by Angel Unzueta.[1] However, the two sources are incongruent in terms of the attendees, a result of the authors working on the same event from two angles.[5][6]
