Snoruuk mushrooms,[1] or simply snoruuks,[2] were a species of red mushroom that were native to[1] the planet[3] Gamorr and edible by Gamorreans.[1] By 228 BBY,[4] the Hutt Churo grew snoruk mushrooms and coolsap shrubs in a tank in his greenhouse laboratory, which was located in his family's palace on the planet Nal Hutta. Churo wanted to see if the species could grow in Nal Hutta's swamps and thrive there.[1] That year,[4] an individual who Churo suspected to be a Gamorrean palace guard ate the mushrooms. After discovering the fate of his science experiments, Churo thought about the mushrooms while reflecting on the bad day he was having.[1] They could be made into a sauce for Ithorian Garden Loaf.[2]
