The Soikan conflict,[1] also known as the Soikan civil war,[2] was a war fought on the planet Soika during the High Republic Era between multiple factions of the Soikan species, including the Livtak Union, Gagic Alliance, and Soika Liberation Force. Velko Jahen, a veteran of the conflict who fought for the Gagics, eventually left Soika to work for the Galactic Republic onboard the Starlight Beacon space station. Trench warfare was employed in the conflict.[1] Before joining the Nihil, Doctor Zadina Mkampa was involved in the war.[2]
