A solar ionization reactor on an Imperial-class Star Destroyer
A solar ionization reactor was a reactor that used hypermatter to create a miniature star inside the reaction chamber to draw energy from. It was seen on multiple models of Imperial Star Destroyers and TIE Series.
The I-a2b solar ionization reactor and the I-a3b solar ionization reactor were both ionization reactors.
