This article is about the hairstyle. You may be looking for the Solloops system.

The solloops hairstyles,[5] also known as the solloop style,[6] were curving[6] hairstyles that originated from the Solloops system[3] in the Kuat sector[7] of the Core Worlds.[8]

In 22 BBY,[9] Nyrat Agira, a Human member of the[6] religious[10] cult Zealots of Psusan,[6] wore the latest iteration[4] of the hairstyle to the Outlander Club,[11] a nightclub and gambling hall[12] on the planet[5] Coruscant.[12] That same year,[13] she[6] wore the style again when visiting the club shortly after an assassination attempt on the senator Padmé Amidala.[14] The latest version[4] consisted of tall[6] sprayed curlicues[15] rising like serpents from the back of the wearers head.[4]

Behind the scenes[]

The solloops hairstyles were created for the prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.[14] An iteration of the hairstyle was first revealed when the[16] uncredited[14] extra playing Nyrat Agira introduced the seventh episode of the Episode II behind-the-scenes video series on location.[16] The hairstyle first appeared in the young readers book Jango Fett Bounty Hunter, written by Eric Arnold and illustrated by Valerie Reckert.[11] The hairstyle would be identified in the David West Reynolds–written reference book Star Wars: Attack of the Clones: The Visual Dictionary. Both works were published on April 23, 2002,[17][18] before the film's release on May 16, 2002.[19]

The Solloops system appears to be one such case.
