Spearhead was an ancient fortress city on the planet Naboo, home of the rogue Gungan warlord Boss Rogoe. During a war between the Gungan tribes millennia before the Imperial Era, Spearhead became host to the remaining holdouts against Boss Gallo, a Gungan who sought to unite the tribes. Gallo's army destroyed Spearhead, and a new Gungan capital called Otoh Gunga was built atop its ruins, with Gallo's initial foundations becoming known as the Ancient Quarter.[1]

Spearhead was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Nexus of Power, a 2016 Fantasy Flight Games sourcebook for the Star Wars: Force and Destiny roleplaying game.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Spearhead was first mentioned in Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Prima's Official Strategy Guide by Steven L. Kent,[2] released on November 7, 2001,[3] before appearing in the LucasArts video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds,[4] released on November 11 the same year.[5]
