The Special Operations Brigade, also known as the GAR special forces, were a brigade of clone special forces of the Grand Army of the Republic. The GAR special forces units along with Jedi commonly used the Nu-class attack/transport shuttle thanks to its utility and versatility during the Clone Wars.[1] Some Advanced Recon Commando troopers and clone commandos were part of the brigade.[3] Clone Force 99 was an elite clone commando unit that got sent on dangerous missions for the Galactic Republic[8] and secured a one hundred percent success rate.[8]
