After the Battle of Endor, a mural depicting the Spectres, the white Loth-wolf, and a gray Loth-wolf was erected in Capital City on Lothal[2] by Mandalorian Sabine Wren.[1] Around 9 ABY,[3] the mural was formally unveiled to the public on the anniversary of the Liberation of Lothal.[4] Wren visited the mural and met with Ahsoka Tano, who had arrived in her T-6 shuttle, to begin their search for Ezra Bridger[5] while thinking about how the lives of her rebel family had changed over the years.[2]

  3. StarWars SWCC 2019: 9 Things We Learned from The Mandalorian Panel on StarWars.com (backup link) establishes that The Mandalorian is set about five years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to 4 ABY. Therefore, the events of The Mandalorian must have taken place around 9 ABY. As TwitterLogo Star Wars (@starwars) on Twitter: "Ahsoka, a new Original Series, starring @RosarioDawson and set within the timeline of @TheMandalorian, is coming to @DisneyPlus." (backup link) states that Ahsoka is set in the same time period as The Mandalorian, it must therefore also be set around 9 ABY.
