A speech scrambler,[1] also known as a voice modulator,[2] was a device that digitally distorted the voice of its user. The Ubese bounty hunter Boushh had one such device fitted on his helmet.[1] KB also had a voice modulator built into her cybernetic implant to mimic the voice of a safety droid.[3]
