The ID9 seeker droid was used by the Galactic Empire's Inquisitorius.

Spy droids were a type of droid used in espionage. The Galactic Empire utilized a number of different types of spy droids including the ID9 and ID10 seeker droids as well as the Viper probe droid. The Resistance maintained a network of droid spies.[2]
