"Stang. That man's a one-man wrecking crew."
"I know--but he's only one man. Stick to the plan."
―Beck Ollet expresses his frustration to Zare Leonis regarding the grav-ball player Horst Prajil[1]

Stang was expletive of frustration. When the AppSci SaberCats played the Kothal Roughnecks in grav-ball, Beck Ollet grew upset when the Roughnecks' alien wing striker, Horst Prajil, kept scoring against them and swore using this expletive. Zare Leonis urged his hot-headed teammate to relax, as Prajil was only one man, and there was still a lot of time left in the game.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The expletive slang first appeared in the classic Star Wars Legends novel Splinter of the Mind's Eye[2] and later appeared in numerous other Star Wars works. The term appeared in canon in the novel Servants of the Empire: Edge of the Galaxy, a novel from the Servants of the Empire series, a side series to Star Wars Rebels focused on the character Zare Leonis.[1]
