The StarWars.com Message Boards, formerly located on StarWars.com, were the official Star Wars online discussion forums. The message boards included separate boards for the movies, the Expanded Universe, boards accessible only to Hyperspace fan club members and even a non–Star Wars forum called the Cantina, where fans could talk about anything. The boards were primarily moderated by a team of volunteers. The boards opened on October 9, 2001 and were closed on June 3, 2011.
