The Executor was a Star Dreadnought.
A Star Dreadnought was a type of dreadnought.[1] Some vessels classified as Star Dreadnoughts included some Imperial Super Star Destroyers such as the Executor-class Star Dreadnought,[2] and First Order capital ships such as the Mega-class Star Dreadnought and the specialized Mandator IV-class Siege Dreadnought.[3]

Executor-class Star Dreadnought
The Executor served as Darth Vader's flagship.
Main article: The Executor-class Star Dreadnought was a class of Star Dreadnought utilized by the Galactic Empire during its reign.[2] It consisted of two variants, the Executor I-class, and the Executor II-class Star Dreadnoughts.[4]
Mandator IV-class Siege Dreadnought
The Mandator IV-class Siege Dreadnought was a specialized class of Star Dreadnought, known as a Siege Dreadnought, that was used by the First Order. It was designed to lay siege on a planet or a fleet. An example was the Fulminatrix, which saw service during the evacuation of D'Qar.[3]
Mega-class Star Dreadnought
The Supremacy was the sole Mega-class Dreadnought
The Mega-class Star Dreadnought was another class of Star Dreadnought utilized by the First Order. The lone vessel of the class was the Supremacy, which served as Supreme Leader Snoke's flagship.[3]
