- ↑ Battlefront II features Darth Maul as he appeared during the events of The Phantom Menace, implying that at least one part of Battlefront II takes place during The Phantom Menace. Because Star Wars: Galactic Atlas places the events of The Phantom Menace in 32 BBY, then Darth Maul in Battlefront II takes place in 32 BBY. Furthermore, Battlefront II features numerous content from The Rise of Skywalker, such as Ajan Kloss, Sith troopers, Ovissians, Caphex and new designs for Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren, and the First Order jet trooper, all of which first appear in The Rise of Skywalker. This would imply that certain parts of Battlefront II take place during The Rise of Skywalker. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary dates the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker as taking place one year after the "Starkiller Incident." As Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates the Starkiller Incident to 34 ABY, it can be deduced the events of The Rise of Skywalker, and therefore Battlefront II's Rise of Skywalker content, take place in 35 ABY. Because all other events (such as the Battle of Hoth or the Battle of Endor) take place in between 32 BBY and 35 ABY, those two years should reflect the range of years in which Battlefront II is set.
