Star Wars: Doctor Aphra is an ongoing Star Wars comic book series, written by Alyssa Wong and art by Marika Cresta, which takes place between the events of Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, which began publishing digitally on May 4, 2020 and in print on May 27, 2020.

The series was scheduled to begin publishing by Marvel Comics in April 2020,[3] but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all Marvel Comics publications ceased publication starting April 1, 2020.[4] Eventually, Marvel Comics resumed their publishing line on May 27, 2020 and included the first issue of the series in its initial lineup,[2] but the release was moved to May 4 for a digital release.[1]
