Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones was a Game Boy Advance game released by THQ on May 30, 2002. The player assumes the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, and Anakin Skywalker during the events of Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones. The player participates in lightsaber duels, fighting droids, and space combat.
Gameplay[]
The player starts off levels with 3 lives, and low Force power. They can block and deflect blaster bolts and slash with their lightsaber, kick, and punch to attack, and throw detonators to disengage and stun opponent enemies. The player is also allowed to jump. On the course of each level, you can acquire power ups to help aid in defending your position and use in attacks and maneuver higher jumps. Numerous swift saber attacks can easily help aid in the confrontations.[2]
On the main screen under "options", the player can choose what difficulty rating they want. The player can choose from: Padawan (easy), Knight (normal), or Master (hard). With each difficulty, more and more enemies spawn, health bars on bosses increase, and encounters get progressively harder. As you traverse through the story, the player has to fight off waves in order to progress forward and, when cornered by a horde, they must find different ways of countering them.[2]
