Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace is a young readers' read–along adaptation of the movie of the same name. It was narrated by Peter Francis James and featured audio clips from the film. It was published by Kid Rhino in May 1999 and released as a book with cassette and book with compact disc. The cassette tape version was packaged with one of four different Micro Machines toys.[2]
