Star Wars Forces of Destiny: Daring Adventures is a series of chapter books based on the animated micro-series Star Wars Forces of Destiny, which adapt select episodes of the animated micro-series, while adding scenes and dialogue not originally present.[2] Four books have been released.
Volume 1 features stories about Sabine Wren, Rey, and Senator PadmΓ© Amidala. Ahsoka Tano, Ketsu Onyo, and the droids C1-10P "Chopper" and BB-8 also appear. The book adapts four episodes of the micro-series: Sands of Jakku, BB-8 Bandits, Newest Recruit, and The Imposter Inside, with additional scenes and introductions by Maz Kanata, not featured in the episodes. A message by Kanata is also included at the end.[3] It was released on August 1, 2017.[1]
Volume 2 features stories about Jyn Erso, Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano, and Princess Leia Organa. The book adapts three episodes: The Padawan Path, Beasts of Echo Base, and The Stranger, with additional Maz Kanata scenes. It was released on October 3, 2017.[4]
The Leia Chronicles features stories about Princess Leia Organa. It was released on January 2, 2018. This book adapts three episodes of the micro-series: Ewok Escape, An Imperial Feast, and Bounty of Trouble, with new scenes with Kanata.[5]
The Rey Chronicles features stories about Rey. It was released on March 6, 2018. It adapts three episodes: Run Rey Run, The Happabore Hazard, and Tracker Trouble, with added introductions by Maz Kanata.[6]
