Star Wars: Le mythe et la science is a limited edition French book that was published in February, 2012 by Mondadori France, with the approval of Lucasfilm It was sold as a collector supplement to the 1133rd issue of the monthly magazine Science & Vie and to the 296th issue of its spinoff for teenagers, Science & Vie Junior. That 62-page book is a compilation of analytical articles pertaining to certain scientific aspects of the Star Wars universe, a behind-the-scenes look at the movies' special effects and a comparison between the saga and several founding myths of humanity.[1]
