According to some sources, the game's plot was to focus on an unnamed Jedi that would have tried to defeat the Galactic Empire.

At a one unspecified point, LucasArts tried to develop Star Wars: Rebel Jedi as part of its planned Star Wars: Rebel video game series, which also included other titles like Star Wars: Rebel Agent, Star Wars: Rebel Fury, Star Wars: Rebel Warrior and Star Wars: Rebel Scum.[1]
Despite this, the game was finally cancelled due unknown reasons, along the whole Star Wars: Rebel video game series.
