Star Wars: Return of the Jedi is a paperback junior novelization of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi. It was released on May 4, 2017, in honor of the 40th anniversary of A New Hope's theatrical release.[1]
The book updates the Star Wars Legends Return of the Jedi junior novelization, which was written by Ryder Windham. Egmont editor Emil Fortune has edited the book to make it fit with the current canon.
