Star Wars: Saga Edition: Lightsaber Battle Game is a plug'n'play game released in 2005, shortly after Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. It lets the player use a wireless lightsaber to "defeat" enemies from the Star Wars saga. The game is from the point of view of a Jedi the player names, but most of the events cannonically occurred to Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Jedi Duels[]

In addition to the enemies, every level (except levels 6 and 7, which happen after Order 66, when the Jedi were wiped out.) features a training duel. Note: when a Jedi appears more than once, it means that they were fought more than once.

Combo Moves[]

In addition to the duels, the game also has special moves that you must perform in order to get to the level. You must correctly complete the move three times.

  1. Level 1 — Qui-Gon Strike
  2. Level 2 — Obi-Wan's Spinning Blade Defense
  3. Level 3 — Mace Windu's Assault
  4. Level 4 — Yoda's Finishing Blow
  5. Level 5 — Anakin's Rage

Force Powers[]

In addition, the game has special Force powers that you learn.

Levels[]

Level 1[]

Level one takes place concurrently with Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi's mission to speak with the Trade Federation representitives during the events of Episode I. You are tasked with sneaking onto another ship and rescueing an astromech droid named R5-D7 who is carrying important information.

Level one is split into three stages and a Cutscene.

  1. Trade Federation Ship -Hallways-
  2. Trade Federation Ship -Computer Room- (Cutscene)
  3. Trade federation Ship -Reactor Room-
  4. Trade Federation Ship -Hanger- (Boss Fight)

Level 2[]

Level 2 takes place during the events of Episode II. While Obi-Wan and Anakin are protecting Senator Amidala you are tasked with protecting Queen Jamillia,

Level 2 is split into four stages and a cutscene:

  1. Naboo -Plains-
  2. Theed Palace -Hallways-
  3. Theed Palace -Throne Room- (Cutscene)
  4. Theed Palace -Reactor Room-
  5. Theed Palace -Hanger- (Boss Fight)

Level 3[]

Level 3 takes place on Geonosis during the events of Episode II. You are tasked with stopping the separatists and Count Dooku.

Level 3 is split into 6 stages

  1. Geonosian Hive -Hallways-
  2. Geonosian Hive -Droid Factory-
  3. Geonosis -Battlefield-
  4. Geonosian Arena -Balcony- (Boss Fight)
  5. Geonosian Arena -Beast Holding Pens-
  6. Geonosian Hive -Hanger- (Boss Fight)

Level 4[]

Level 4 takes place on Utapau during the events of Episode III. Elevated to the rank of Jedi Knight after a training duel with Master Yoda, you are tasked with stopping General Grievious.

Level 4 is split into 3 stages:

  1. Utapau -Rocky Plains-
  2. Utapau -Caves-
  3. Utapau -Landing Platform- (Boss Fight)

Level 5[]

Level 5 takes place during the events of Order 66. Elevated to the rank of Jedi Master, you and the other Jedi are recalled to the Jedi Temple on Couruscant.

Level 5 is comprised of 1 stage, Jedi Temple -Hallways-, which is split into a battle and Boss Fight

Level 6[]

Level 6 is set on Mustafar during the events of Episode III.

Level 6 is comprised of 1 stage, Mustafar -Walkway-, split into a battle and Boss Fight.

Level 7[]

Level 7 takes place after the events of Episode III. While Yoda goes into exile on Dagobah, and Obi-Wan takes a "Special Package" to Tatooine, you must face Anakin (now fully Darth Vader) and escape him a final time.

Level 7 is comprised of a boss fight only. The location is described as "a remote ice planet.
