Although initially slated for an October 30, 2018[3] release, the deluxe edition of Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide was pushed back to November 13, 2018.[1] When a fan asked the reason for the delay, author Daniel Wallace cited logistical issues in international shipping, but said he expected the issue to be resolved soon.[4]
