Star Wars: The Making of the Movie was a children's book published in September 1980 by Random House as part of the "Step-Up Books" series and written by Larry Weinberg. The cover price was $4.95.
The book gave children a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and also retold the story of the film.
