Star Wars: The Story of Darth Vader is a canon DK Readers Level 3 title that traces the rise, fall, and redemption of Darth Vader through the Star Wars film saga. It is a reissue of the 2008 Star Wars Legends title of the same name by author Catherine Saunders, with sixteen pages of additional content planned and edited by Anant Sagar, and written by Tori Kosara. The updated edition was released on September 1, 2015.

The book was reissued as part of the Learn to Read with Star Wars: Darth Vader Level 3 box set on December 12, 2017.
