"Have your own shooting gallery at home!"
―Game box description[3]

Star Wars: X-Wing Aces Target Game is a 1978[2] electronic game, based on the original Star Wars movie. It was licensed by Kenner.[1]

Gameplay[]

This shooting gallery game is one of the rarest of Kenner's early Star Wars products and was based on the shape of an earlier game, the World War I themed Aerial Aces from which the game retained its old machine gun style and sound effects for its "laser cannon."[4] X-Wing Aces' screen featured a Death Star background and displayed moving TIE fighter images, while an X-wing image followed where the cannon pointed. A dial kept score, and stickers represented gauges displaying Hyperspace co-ordinates, orbital velocity and "light years per second."
