Plot summary[]
Lando and Sana Starros meet for a drink in a pub. Lando says he's not surprised to see her, and Sana asks for his help. Lando agrees, saying he has all the contacts she needs, but has one condition. Sana says she can pay his price.
Two days earlier, Sana presents a crate of brand-new, Imperial-issue blasters to a group of pirates, claiming to have another 12 cases just like it. When the pirates ask how she acquired the guns, she closes the crate and threatens to take her business elsewhere.
Sana demands 5,000 credits for all 13 crates, explaining it's a down payment. The pirates can keep one crate to try out the blasters and will owe her the remaining 15,000 credits upon delivery of the rest.
Noticing that a blaster is missing from the crate, a pirate confronts her. Sana says she's keeping it, stating she can't travel unarmed. The pirate warns her not to double-cross them.
On Coruscant, Lando and Sana discuss their plan. Sana will sell the guns to the pirates, then before making the delivery, she will report them to the Empire for a reward and keep the blasters for herself. Lando warns her about the risks of dealing with Krawg pirates.
Lando and Sana then meet with an Imperial officer. Sana places the stolen blaster on the desk, claiming she took it. The officer orders them arrested, but Sana quickly explains she stole the blasters from the people who originally stole them. She requests 20,000 credits for the thieves' names.
Soon after, Sana and Lando leave the meeting with 20,000 credits. Lando points out that she has now sold the blasters twice. Sana explains that she only had one crate of guns.
Later, the pair has an audience with Jabba the Hutt, hoping to buy blasters. Jabba says he doesn't deal in such weapons due to Imperial law.
Sana counters, telling Jabba she knows he has 12 crates and knows who has the 13th. Jabba speculates that she knows because she stole it. She then offers him the names of the thieves—the Krawg pirates—for 20,000 credits.
Suddenly, a Krawg pirate emerges from hiding with a drawn blaster, but Sana shoots first, disabling him. Jabba, now believing her story, gives them the credits. Lando is amazed she has made 45,000 credits in three days for blasters she doesn't have.
Sana explains that the blasters' story is that a shorted-out life support system on an Imperial ship left everyone inside dead. The ship then floated into Tatooine's orbit where Jabba's people found it first. Lando speculates that she sold the 13th crate from Jabba. Sana adds that she stole the rest of the crates while Jabba was distracted.
Soon, the Krawg pirates begin firing on their ship. A massive Star Destroyer arrives and broadcasts a message stating they are all under arrest by order of the Empire. Sana immediately puts their ship into hyperspeed.
Later, Sana and Lando have a meal on Nar Shaddaa.
Elsewhere, Han Solo is seen flying the Millennium Falcon away from attacking TIE fighters, with Grakkus the Hutt imprisoned on board.
