Star Wars 6 is the sixth issue of the 2025 canon comic book series Star Wars. The issue was written by Alex Segura, illustrated by Phil Noto, and published by Marvel Comics on October 1, 2025.

Plot summary[]

So much for the New Republic then. If we have to fight, we will fight—but we did dream of a softer way. I didn't imagine it. A way less reliant on anger and violence."

On Loradil, General Han Solo, cyborg Beilert Valance, and Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker suit-up into Clone trooper armor to face the hoards of B1 battle droids. Facing the onslaught to reach the survivors in the Nechrim's Wake and find New Republic pilot Rynn Zenat, they are confronted with huge squads of battle droids and several Armoured Assault Tanks. Meanwhile, on Chandrila, Chancellor Mon Mothma and Leia Organa confirm that the Fenril Consortium is heading for the New Republic, accepting that they have fallen into war again. Leia is displeased with this, after so much fighting and violence, she hoped for less reliance on anger and violence, but if they must fight, then they will. Mon Mothma asks Leia how they should respond to them, but Leia already has.
Back on Loradil, Han is surrounded by a group of droids, who attempt to take his blaster, but he manages to destroy them all, while Valance takes care of a droideka. Meanwhile, Luke hides underneath one of the assault tanks, attempting to communicate with Ben Kenobi and Yoda through the Force. The droids notice him hiding underneath the tank and attempt to pull him out, but he has already disappeared from underneath. Luke appears behind the squad of droids, destroying them with his lightsaber. Han plans for the two of them to run to the Millennium Falcon and find Luke, but Valance uses himself as a distraction to allow for Han to reach the Falcon himself.
Inside the wreckage of the Nechrim's Wake, Rynn asks about how they crashed on Loradil, which Finch and the captain explain it was the pirates who shot them down. From the shadows, Rynn notices a figure, drawing her blaster on them, but the captain informs her that he is a friend. The figure, named Marntiv, explain that the pirates were a part of the Zantarrk Gang, who were trying to find him and prevent the New Republic from finding out what he knows. Marntiv also explains that he was a follower of Garlev who he fought alongside to bring freedom to the Nagai people, but the leader of the Zantarrk, Gallana Venk, has been selling her people out to their oppressive rulers of the Consortium and Reyna Oskure. Marntiv also explains that they have been using the Nagai in labor camps to help them build their armies. He wants to immediately go to Kaltrais, where Oskure recently was, to aid the increasing insurrection on the planet. Luke continues to tear through hoards of droids, comparing himself to his father, Anakin Skywalker, as he does. Han gets close to reaching the Falcon, but is hit to the ground by the droids, they surround him, but he is swiftly rescued by Valance and the rest of the New Republic forces. Han plans to take the group back to Chandrila to escape the droids, but Luke tells him that they need to head back to Kaltrais to help the Nagai who are going after Oskure.
On Kaltrais, Prime Minister Kezrin Almovar is displeased with what Oskure has been doing and with war on the horizon. However, Oskure responds stating that this is exactly what they planned, and the New Republic will have to respond no matter what, resulting in their destruction and marking the day as the start of true independence for the Fenril Consortium. Suddenly, a Zantarrk member enters the room, informing the two that the Nagai have sprung a surprise attack and have engaged a full attack on their forces. They leave with the member to see the events unfolding, Almovar suspects it has something to do with the New Republic, but Oskure has a plan of her own. Witnessing them leave, Agent Bastion makes contact with Leia, confirming that the two leaders are on Kaltrais. Leia tells her to follow the orders she has given and to do what she must for the New Republic.
