Star Wars is an ongoing Star Wars comic book series written by Charles Soule and published by Marvel Comics, beginning in January of 2020. It features the characters Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Lando Calrissian, Chewbacca, C-3PO, and R2-D2, and takes place between the events of Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi. It is a relaunch of the concluded comic series of the same name that ran from 2015 to 2019.[1] On April 1, 2020, Marvel Comics was forced to stall their publishing line due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[3] Eventually, Marvel announced they would resume their publishing line on May 27, 2020,[4] and the series resumed publication in August 2020 with issue 5.[5]
