Star Wars is a Mighty Chronicles illustrated adaptation of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope published by Chronicle Books in December 1996.[1] It contains 146 illustrations in shades of blue and black.
Continuity[]
- Although released to commemorate the "Special Edition" trilogy, the entire book only depicts the original 1977 version of the film. The only Special Edition scene shown is Han Solo talking with Jabba the Hutt at Docking Bay 94.
- Leia first sees the Falcon and is impressed by it before running onboard during Obi-Wan and Vader's duel. In the film, she first sees the ship from an above platform right after escaping the trash compactor.
