Star Wars Comic UK was a magazine published monthly by Titan Magazines. It contained mostly reprints of comics published by Dark Horse before featuring original stories in volumes 6 and 7. It was titled Star Wars: The Clone Wars Comic since the beginning of volume 5 in December 2009 because of the release and success of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series. It changed its title for the last time, to Star Wars Comic, at the beginning of volume 7 in January 2014 when its stories shifted focus onto characters from the original trilogy; these stories existed in alternation with Clone Wars stories until issue 8. The magazine ended in December 2014 when the publishers lost their license to publish Star Wars material in the UK.

A new Star Wars UK magazine titled Star Wars Rebels Magazine was published by Egmont UK Ltd from January 2015 to December 2016.

With the conclusion of The Clone Wars: The Lost Missions, the Star Wars: The Clone Wars magazine was relabeled as the Star Wars Comic Magazine. These issues continued to feature exclusive comic stories, this time moving away from the Clone Wars era. None of the stories featured in Star Wars Comic Magazine have been published elsewhere.

As the series is published every four weeks, Star Wars: The Clone Wars Comic 6.7 was thus published on April 29—four weeks after issue 6.6 and before issue 6.8. Furthermore, StarWars What's New This Week: Clone Wars Comic #6.19, Galaxy Comic #7, Invasion -- Rescues and The Clone Wars in 3-D on StarWars.com (content now obsolete; backup link) states that Star Wars: The Clone Wars Comic 6.19 was published on April 7, 2011, and TitanThingy Ahsoka's Ark on Titan Magazines' official website (content now obsolete; backup link) states that Star Wars: The Clone Wars Comic 6.36 was released on July 26, 2012—exactly 68 weeks afterwards. It can therefore be assumed that the 17 issues between issues 6.19 and 6.36 were consistently released four weeks apart from one another. The same can be assumed for the remaining 19 issues in Volume 6—TitanThingy Star Wars Comic #1 on Titan Magazines' official website (content now obsolete; backup link) states that Star Wars Comic 1, the first issue of Volume 7, released on January 9, 2014, exactly 76 weeks after issue 6.36—as well as the last 12 issues of Volume 7, placing Star Wars Comic 13, the final issue, at a release date of December 11, 2014.
