Star Wars Fan Club Special 2008 was a special comic released by Dark Horse. It included the Star Wars Fan Club membership kit, shipped to everyone who ordered or renewed their Hyperspace membership after November 7, 2007. The first issues were mailed out in March 2008. The cover's wraparound artwork by Tsuneo Sanda was originally used for Star Wars: Panel to Panel Volume 2: Expanding the Universe.
