Star Wars Insider 55 is the fifty-fifth issue of Star Wars Insider magazine. It was released to newsstands on August 7, 2001. Issue 55 was the first overseen by chief editor Christopher Perkins, who had previously served the magazine as Senior Editor beginning with issue 53. This issue came packaged with an exclusive Obi-Wan Kenobi trading card from the Topps trading card set 2001 Topps Star Wars Evolution.
