THE EMPIRE
VOL. 3
With the rise of the Galactic Empire from the ashes of the
old Republic, the evil Emperor Palpatine has taken control
of the galaxy. Over the past three months, he has quickly
consolidated military and political power and made
Coruscant his throneworld.

The Emperor's deadly apprentice, Darth Vader, continues to
hide his feelings of guilt over the slaughter of Jedi
younglings, part of the Emperor's plan to exterminate the
Jedi Order and prevent any threat against the dark side of
the Force. After a failed attempt at finding an apprentice of
his own, Vader now fears that the Emperor may dispose of
him as well if his loyalty to the Empire is questioned.

Meanwhile, the fugitive Jedi Dass Jennir and his companion
Ember Chankeli have reunited with his friends, the outlaw
crew of the ship ''Uhumele'', after narrowly escaping the
assassin bounty hunter Falco Sang. Vader has captured
Sang in the hope of finding Jennir and proving himself by
hunting down remaining Jedi.

But the Emperor has told Darth Vader that he has his own
plan to deal with the surviving Jedi - one that does not
include Vader....
