Opening crawl[]

THE NEW REPUBLIC
VOL. 2
With the death of the evil Emperor Palpatine and the
destruction of his ultimate weapon, the Death Star, the
Rebel Alliance has at last ended the Empire's domination
of the galaxy.

But there is chaos in the immediate aftermath of the
Battle of Endor, and the Empire remains far from extinct.
Legendary X-wing pilots Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles
lead Rogue Squadron, a team of the Rebellion's best pilots,
in the ensuing cleanup operations.

Despite the deaths of Palpatine and a number of his
commanders, Imperial power and influence are still felt in
various galactic hotspots...and much of the galaxy remains
unaware of the Rebels' victory.

Now, both Luke and Wedge are questioning whether they
are capable of being a part of the Rebellion's formation of
a New Republic. Luke bears the burden of having to
singlehandedly restore the Jedi order, while Wedge is weary
from years of war....
