Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: The Original Marvel Years Vol. 2 is an Epic Collection trade paperback that collects issues of Marvel Comics' initial line of Star Wars comics. The Epic Collection edition was published on July 25, 2017.

Opening crawl[]

THE ORIGINAL MARVEL YEARS
VOL. 2 
After the Death Star's destruction, the heroes of the Rebel
Alliance go their separate ways.

Han Solo and Chewbacca head back to Tatooine to pay
their debt to crime lord Jabba the Hutt, but are intercepted
by the devious Crimson Jack and his space pirates, who
steal their entire cargo of treasure. Lying low on the planet
Aduba 3, the pair finds employment protecting the locals
from outlaws, and assembles their own crew to even the
odds.

Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker, C-3PO, and R2-D2 leave the
rebel base at Yavin 4 to locate a new safe haven for the
rebel fleet. But Luke's systems go dead, and he crashes
onto an alien water world. Alarmed, Princess Leia leaves
the base to track down Luke, but is captured by Crimson
Jack shortly before Han and Chewbacca intercept Jack's
fleet. As Luke encounters the space wreckers who disabled
his ship, his friends escape the pirates - only to crash on
the very same site.

Reunited, the heroes flee the planet and the pirates,
making their way to the galactic casino known as the Wheel
- but danger continues to follow them. Cyborg bounty
hunter Valance is on their trail, knowing the Empire will pay
handsomely for the rebels. And just behind Valance is Darth
Vader, who has felt Luke's mind in the Force. Though Vader
tracks them to the Wheel, the rebels escape - leaving their
identities safe for the moment....
