The Starhawk-class Battleship Mark II was a class of battleship used by the naval arm of the burgeoning New Republic. The Mark II was part of the Starhawk-class line of ships,[1] which included the initial prototype[4] and the Mark I. The Starhawks were built from disassembled Imperial Star Destroyers and had a hatchet shaped frontal hull.[5]
The Mark II had multiple deflector shield generator domes[2] on its mast as well as engines on its extended aft section and rear of the frontal section. The warship was equipped with a Magnite Crystal Tractor Beam Array with six tractor beam projectors[1] surrounding a frontal hangar.[3] One Starhawk-class Battleship Mark II traveled near[1] the New Republic ecumenopolis[6] Hosnian Prime, where it was accompanied by at least seventeen X-wing starfighters. That Starhawk was decorated with the blue and yellow colors of the New Republic, including the starburst insignia on its starboard side.[1]

The Starhawk-class Battleship Mark II was introduced on November 19, 2019 by Fantasy Flight Games in an article on their website titled "Rebel Might." The article announced their Nadiri Starhawk Expansion Pack for the Star Wars: Armada miniatures game.[1] The art depicting the Mark II was illustrated by JB Casacop and titled "Hosnian Prime Fleet Parade."[7]
