Station Gamma was a space station built around a large asteroid, located in Ord Mantell Space and neighboring Tansarii Point Station.

History

It once served as a research facility for allies of Jorj Car'das,[1] though was later overrun by the Rak'qua and the fierce Sepulcher Venomstrikers.

In addition to the Rak'qua warriors, Station Gamma was known for being guarded by former Separatist droids and in its lowest depths was home to an insane Arakyd Viper probot calling itself the I-7 Construct. Beyond the sepulcher lairs was a city of fierce Rak'qua, much different from the kind Rak'qua living in the upper levels.

In league with the Galactic Empire, the station would capture unsuspecting spacers and sell them as slaves. The Alliance to Restore the Republic suspected that the Imperials performed horrible experiments on Station Gamma and sent a spacer to download the information from their databanks to find out the truth.[3]

Behind the scenes

Station Gamma appeared in the video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online-role playing game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.
