The stava was a quadruped carnivore on Honoghr that had good endurance. It was rendered extinct after the contamination of the planet during the Battle of Honoghr in the Clone Wars.[1]
The native Noghri named a martial art after the stava. There was also an expression used by the Noghri about arguments, that something was being fought over like "a bone among hungry stava."
