Steel was a type of material used in building. It was noted for not being aesthetically pleasing, and as such was limited to industrial areas.
History[]
Cloud City used this material in its carbon-freezing chambers, where the tibanna gas mined from Bespin would be flash-frozen in carbonite blocks.
An owner of the Millennium Falcon previous to Lando Calrissian, installed a steel safe into the cockpit section of the vessel.[1]
